Bono says that he has written a song about the attacks that occurred at an Eagles of Death Metal show, killing 89 concert goers at Le Bataclan in Paris on Nov. 13. 132 people total were slain during the ISIS attacks in the nation's capital and the tragedy at Le Bataclan accounted for most of the fatalities.

U2 had been slated to play in Paris on the day of the attacks and were seen at AccorHotels Arena just hours before members of ISIS opened fire at the concert.

According to NME, the song that Bono wrote about the tragedy and is entitled "Streets of Surrender."

In deference to the tragedy, U2 is slated to perform with Eagles of Death Metal at their rescheduled concert at AccorHotels arena. Eagles of Death Metal will join the band onstage during the last song in the memorial concert to commemorate the Paris Attacks. Josh Homme will also be present for the memorial concert although he was not involved with the concert where the shootings occurred.

Founding member of The Whigs, Julian Dorio, who was playing with Eagles of Death Metal when the attacks occurred took the incident to heart and came out on social media to express his condolences to the victims. He also expressed that sadly enough, it was one of the best shows they had every had as a band despite the tragedy that occurred. He also said that he considers those involved as his "new family abroad" in Paris.

"Absolute and unnecessary evil turned our world on it's head," he wrote on Instagram. "I am beyond grateful that I was able to find a way out of the venue, but I am mourning those who did not, including our mate, Nick Alexander. My thoughts are with their families."

The music industry did not go unaffected by the tragedy, as the band's own merchandise manager Nick Alexander was amongst those slain.
