Justin Bieber performed in Toronto on Monday night (Dec. 7), performing a bunch of his new songs along with a cover of The Beatles' "Let It Be," as well as an acoustic rendition of Drake's "Hotline Bling."

Bieber released his brand new EDM-inspired album Purpose last month, and while his official Purpose Tour doesn't kick off for a few more weeks, Bieber offered up a bit of a teaser at the intimate 1500-capacity venue near his hometown with two big covers.

Everyone under the sun has been celebrating what would have been John Lennon's 75th birthday, including country legends Chris Stapleton, Willie Nelson, and Kris Kristofferson who performed "You've Got to Hide Your Love Away" at Imagine: John Lennon 75th Birthday Concert this past Saturday (December 5). At the Toronto gig, Bieber manned the piano for the beautiful tribute, performing one of the world's favorite Beatles songs.

The pop singer's live acoustic rendition of Drizzy's "Hotline Bling" comes on the heels of Bieber's remix of the track, which he supposedly recorded on his cell phone, shortly after it was released by Drake. The remix had accompanied a cell phone number for fans to call and hear the reinterpretation.

While Bieber's song "Sorry" has been the new album's clear lead single, "Love Yourself" is gaining traction, even reaching the new Number One spot in the UK, replacing his previous Number One slot, a record, in fact, only formerly held by The Beatles (and Elvis Presley).
