Alaskan outfit Portugal. the Man have put a layered spin on Yoko Ono's 2001 track, "Soul Got Out Of The Box," for the avant-garde artist's latest album, Yes, I'm a Witch Too. The impending album offers a star-studded line-up of collaborators tackling unique renditions of Ono's wide-ranging material.

The track originally appeared on the artist's Blueprint for a Sunrise LP, which brought fourth loud moans paired with a bluesy piano and incessant pounding while Portugal the Man brings a more acoustic feel to the song. The newly crafted version also includes a series of feminine voices zeroing in on Ono's lyrics about doomsday.

"I grew up in rural Alaska - the thought that I collaborated and sing on the same track as Yoko blows me away," John Baldwin Gourley of Portugal, the Man told Rolling Stone. "She is a legend and I am lucky to have had this opportunity" When Ono was asked for a comment, she gave up a quote instead, referencing another song's lyrics with "I am rolling forever on an unpaved road."

Due out Feb. 19, Yes, I'm a Witch Too, trails Ono's last remix album from 2007, Yes, I'm a Witch, drawing from the same themes. Ono's newest album will boast the talents of Death Cab for Cutie, Cibo Matto, Peter Bjorn, Sean Lennon, Sparks and more. Furthermore, the Tune-Yards offered their own rendition of "Warrior Woman," which was released in July. Available as a deluxe cd, double-vinyl set and digitally, the album will be adorned with cover art by Scott Rudd, which contains a Karl Lagerfeld image.

Yoko Ono was recently part of a tribute concert to her late husband and iconic Beatle, John Lennon, during Imagine: John Lennon 75th Birthday Concert. In honor of what would've been the "Beautiful Boy" singer's 75th birthday, musicians such as Steven Tyler, Willie Nelson and Brandon Flowers put their own spin on staple Lennon tunes at Madison Square Garden.
