Fresh off a Grammy nomination for their third album Currents and snagging a hattrick of Aria Awards, Australian outfit Tame Impala have released a video performance of the album's leading track, "Let it Happen" as the quartet jams in front of Paris' massive, mirrored dome, Le Géode.

The 8-minute clip was filmed in part of the ongoing Deezer Sessions series, showcasing a relaxed Kevin Parker as he tackles the July album's leading track barefoot in a pair of shades and skinny jeans. Parker's airy and pleasing vocals mimic those found on the original track with even more amplified synths and vocal distortion.

The group already released a music video for "Let it Happen," which follows a man on a anxiety-ridden journey, quite contrary to the mellow, go-with-the-flow message the song gives off.

The band's latest album delves into a more nuanced, electronic sound ever since the group decided to drop dance-leaning material. Let's not forget, however, that Tame Impala have perfected the experimental, psych rock sound with their debut effort, 2010's Innerspeaker and their 2012 follow-up, Lonerism.

The Perth, Australia natives will be up against Bjork's Vulnicura, My Morning Jacket's Waterfall, Wilco's Star Wars and Alabama Shakes' Sound & Color for Best Alternative Album at this year's Grammy awards. The psych rock group has already notched a trifecta of awards with Best Rock Album, Best Group and the famed Album of the Year at the 2015 Aria Awards, surpassing the talents of Vance Joy and Courtney Barnett.

Parker and company recently dropped a trippy, NSFW video for fellow Currents album track "The Less I Know the Better" focusing on adolescent lust between a cheating girlfriend and the high school basketball team gorilla mascot. The groovy song can also be found in an Apple Watch commercial short, paired with a orange ombre background and skateboarder silhouettes.

Tame Impala continues their touring circuit in the Netherlands before executing a string of gigs across Europe, the U.K. and South America.
