It's been a long and winding road full of pushed back release dates and so-so performing singles for Mariah Carey's 14th studio album. But, after getting pushed back multiple times, a new release date has been revealed. Today (April 30), Carey announced not only a date for her new album, which is old hat by now, but also an album cover, official title and 14-song tracklist.

It's actually happening this time. The album is dropping on May 27, just three weeks behind its previously announced date of May 6. And forget those Beyoncé-esque surprise album rumors, Carey is all about that traditional rollout.

Carey's new album has the (mouthful) title Me. I Am Mariah... The Elusive Chanteuse. In a video she posted on her official Facebook page, Carey described that the album title came from a drawing she reportedly scribbled at three-and-a-half years old. Marked by the innocence of a child, she drew her first (and only) self portrait alongside the caption "Me. I Am Mariah."

Carey is pulling the personal story of that drawing into this album, which she described as showcasing "the peaks and valleys" of her life.

The drawing is included on the back cover of her album.

Carey also revealed the cover art for Me. I Am Mariah, which shows her looking like a golden goddess while standing in a pool of water. Attentive fans will note that this picture is from the same photoshoot as the artwork for her single "The Art Of Letting Go."

The deluxe edition of the album, which features four bonus songs, features a close-up of Carey's face.

The final album detail to be unveiled was the tracklisting for Me. I Am Mariah, which boasts 14 songs for the standard edition and an additional four for the deluxe version. Guests include the likes of Nas, Miguel and Wale. Carey's own children with her husband Nick Cannon, billed as "Dembabies," will also make an appearance on the track "Supernatural."
