His skills on the basketball court as a Cleveland Cavalier shows that Iman Shumpert definitely knows how to perform under pressure; with a little bit focus and determination, he's always ready for the unexpected. Those same skillls played a key role in the successful delivery of his own baby at home on Wednesday with Teyana Taylor.

Shumpert and the mother of his newborn, singer Teyana Taylor, announced that they were pregnant months ago but they were expecting the baby to arrive in January, as reported by Today. According to TMZ, it wasn't the baby's early arrival that was the most shocking, it was the delivery - more specifically, being delivered at home on the bathroom floor, by the hands of Shumpert. According to the site, around 6 a.m. on Wednesday morning, Taylor unknowingly went into labor and began to feel the baby's head making its way out. Of course, something had to be done immediately, so super dad Shumpert sprung into action.

With an emergency operator on the phone coaching him through what he should do, Shumpert geared up for game time and successfully brought his daughter into this world. "It took two ten-count pushes with my fiancé playing doctor and she entered this world into his bare hands," Taylor stated, according to TMZ.

She posted the photo of the baby with a caption recounting the details of her daughter's birth on Instagram stating how her baby girl took her first breath in this world on the bathroom floor Dec. 16. She described how her tearful fiance, Shumpert, used a pair of red headphones to tie around the umbilical cord until the ambulance arrived minutes later. The baby, who Taylor referred to as "Junie," was officially named Iman Tayla Shumpert Jr.

Taylor closed out the caption with a memorable heartfelt note to her daughter that read, "Mommy carried you. Daddy delivered you."

On Dec 16th at 6:42am in our bathroom Junie decided she wanted to take her first breath into this world. She came out as a wonderful surprise to everyone! Not knowing I was in labor until I felt her head...it took two ten count pushes with my fiancé playing Dr and she entered this world into his bare hands! Eyes full of tears and barely able to speak to the emergency operator @imanshumpert tied a pair of red headphones around the umbilical cord and the ambulance made there grand entrance 5 min later. She opened her eyes right away, gazed into mine and never cried! He handed her to me wrapped in our bath towel and wiped her face for me to see what LOVE really is. She has blown Christmas away! Our family is complete. Her blueprint will be unmatched. Welcome Iman Tayla Shumpert Jr. Mommy carried you. Daddy delivered you. #MeetTheParents we love you baby girl
