At a time when she would have every reason to be kicking up her heels and relaxing, a very pregnant Kandi Burruss was giving back to a community of single mothers-to-be and mothers with babies less than 3 months old, who might otherwise be unable to properly prepare or care for their children.

Right in time for the holidays, Burruss hosted a beautifully touching baby shower through her foundation Kandi C.A.R.E.S. She and husband Todd Tucker have already had their own shower, preparing for the birth of their first child together, so Burruss used this time to be selfless and help out women in need. Did we mention that the ex-Xscape member and music mogul is eight months pregnant?

"C.A.R.E.S" is an acronym for "compassion, advocacy, resources, encouragement and support." According to the website, the foundation is "dedicated to providing education, empowerment & enrichment to the lives of single parents, and children who are the product of single parent homes." Judging on this event, and the numerous events and programs supported and introduced by Kandi C.A.R.E.S., it seems as though Burruss is living up to the morals of her organization.

If the reality show star's Instagram is any indication, this event was a big deal to Burruss. "Today was a great day!" Burruss writes. She then talks about providing each mom with necessities such as "diapers, high chairs, gift cards, etc." She described the shower as including "games, food & fun!" Even Burruss' mom, Ms. Joyce, could be seen getting into the holiday spirit and playing games with the expectant mothers. Burruss also took the time to bond with the moms, sharing some of her experiences as a single mom to daughter Riley, and why she founded Kandi C.A.R.E.S. Each mom also took a turn expressing their appreciation for being able to participate in the event and receive what they needed for their children. And each mom walked away with $500.

If that wasn't enough, Burruss plans to continue in the spirit of giving by providing toys for another 100 families through her foundation, right in time for Christmas. Burruss wrote the hashtag, "#BlessedToBeABlessing." We couldn't agree more.
