Rumors surrounding the future of Manchester United manager Louis Van Gaal with the club have been running rampant this week, and aside from his storming out of a brief press conference earlier this morning (Dec. 23, 2015), we have no answers yet. The team's 2015/2016 Premier League season has had its ups and downs, and we heard that the executive at the club are discussing the possibility of Van Gaal getting sacked. According to fellow Premier League coach Arsene Wenger, he isn't buying into the speculation that Jose Mourinho is set to take over Van Gaal's job in 2016.

We recently reported on this rumor, suggesting United were possibly in talks with Mourinho, who had just been released from his managing job at Chelsea FC for an even worse season than United. According to Wenger, it's useless to even discuss this gossip.

"I do not want to go into a world of speculation. I personally have a huge respect for Louis van Gaal, and I think what is going on there is disrespectful," the Arsenal coach said, according to ESPN FC and BBC Sport. "This guy has worked for 30 years in football and has delivered unbelievable quality of work. I think it is a bit disrespectful what is going on there. I think a lot has been made of that [Mourinho's departure], and I do not need to add anything. I do not want anyone to lose their job, and my personal feelings on that front is that it is always sad when someone loses their job."

Clearly there are way too many rumors about Premier League transfers these days to be totally sure which is true and what’s simply speculation. All we know is that 2016 holds some exciting moves for English football.
