Villa manager Remi Garde is not happy with his team. He is well aware of their poor form and is hoping his roster can prove him wrong with his expectations this week.
"If we are playing the same game against Liverpool we will have no chance to have points," the new coach said, according to PremierLeague.com. "Against Norwich we deserved the win but in the second half they created many opportunities and if we were unlucky we would have drawn the game. My job is to say 'well done lads for the victory and three points but the football we played won't be enough to take points from the Liverpool game.' We won the game but not in the best way we could have done it. I was not completely happy with the game we played."
Meanwhile, Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp shared an update on his lineup earlier this week.
"There are no final decisions for the lineup and I don't hope too often before a game: 'Come on, maybe this is the game when it will change,'" he said, according to The Guardian. "It is about work and circumstances and we will see what lineup we will choose but it is not because of personal histories with this club."
