Tove Lo is one of the most intriguing pop stars to burst onto the scene this year. She did this with a reissue of her 2014 debut album Queen of the Clouds, a new official music video for latest single "Moments," and performances onstage with the likes of Taylor Swift and Demi Lovato. For the holidays, she has released a subtly infectious new rough track, entitled "Influence," on her Soundcloud for fans. It has that cool, synthy feel that most of her tracks contain, with some simple drum lines within.

On Dec. 19, Tove Lo joined Demi Lovato onstage for a duet of Lovato's smash hit "Cool for the Summer" at 93.3 FLZ's Jingle Ball in Tampa.

"Give it up for Tove Lo," Lovato cried exuberantly as the Swedish singer took the stage. Her performance was surprisingly upbeat and light-hearted considering how moody her original songs are. ("Tell me if I won / If I did / If I did / What's my prize? / I just wanna play with you, too") the two sang together onstage and seemed to have a good sense of humor throughout the performance.

Lovato posted a short clip to Instagram after the performance and captioned it with, "There honestly isn't anyone cooler than @tovelo. Thanks lady for coming on stage and performing #CoolForTheSummer with me.. I'm so glad we got to know each other this tour!!"

Tove Lo has been making the rounds lately, and just before Thanksgiving she also performed on The Late Late Show with James Corden. The performance of her new single "Moments" followed her North American tour and the re-release of her multi-platinum album, Queen of the Clouds. She also released a lyrics video for "Moments" to announce her tour in addition to an official music video.
