Coldplay will be performing at the Super Bowl 50 halftime show, but the "Adventure of a Lifetime" band won't be going at it alone. Rumors have been buzzing that the British pop rock outfit will be collaborating with both Rihanna and Beyoncé for an unforgettable set.

The collaboration is not surprising, considering both pop stars have previously been featured on the band's music. Rihanna appeared on the track "Princess Of China" off of their 2011 album Mylo Xyloto and Beyoncé appears on two tracks from the band's latest 2015 album A Head Full Of Dreams.

A source spoke with The Daily Mirror to reveal what the upcoming halftime show will look like. "Chris and his band know they’re not typically as showy as recent performers like Katy Perry and Madonna with all the dancers and, while they love a light show, they still want to bring a few surprises out. Beyonce and Rihanna are both keen to join in the high-profile ceremony and will add just the spark needed to make it an amazing and unforgettable show."

There was, however, no mention of Bruno Mars, who has been rumored to return to Super Bowl 50 two years after his own headlining set.

Coldplays's latest album A Head Full of Dreams was released on Dec. 4 via Parlophone and aside from Beyoncé (and her daughter Blue Ivy), the features guest vocals from Chris Martin's ex-wife Gwyneth Paltrow and Oasis' Noel Gallagher.

Meanwhile, the band's frontman Chris Martin recently revealed that the band will be taking audience requests on their upcoming tour, for which they've started to finalize their setlists, delegating a portion of the evening to fan requests given in a photobooth setting.

Super Bowl 50 is scheduled to take place on Feb. 7, 2016, at the Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California.
