Atlanta already has several dance music-oriented festivals, but this spring it is getting another from C3 Presents, the same promoter who puts on Skaky Knees Music Festival, Lollapalooza, LouFest, Austin City Limits and others. C3 has taken the "Shaky" name and gone dancing, inaugurating the Shaky Beats Music Festival this spring. The lineup has been mostly announced but they saved some big names for one last push including Major Lazer, ZHU and Chromeo.

Also included on the updated lineup are Years & Years and AlunaGeorge who have a crossover appeal from dance to pop and indie.

They will be joined by previously announced headliners in Porter Robinson, Odesza, Duke Dumont, Big Gigantic, A$AP Ferg and Nas.

The lineup is primarily electronic acts, but there are some rap artists providing some genre diversity like the aforementioned headliners in Nas and A$AP Ferg, in addition to Sir The Baptist, Tory Lanez and Aer.

Though most of the artists on the bill will be DJs, there will be some live acts ranging from the hip-hop artists to live electronic groups like Chromeo, Odesza, Cherub and Watch The Duck, who blend the line between dubstep and trap.

A lot of the electronic acts either fall into the category of heavier bass and hip-hop influenced trap, which makes sense being right outside of Atlanta or softer, shimmering electronic and downtempo beats, but there are some left-field additions like  and Floating Points.

Shaky Beats Music Festival will take place from May 20-22 in Centennial Olympic Park in Atlanta, Georgia. Tickets are on sale now starting at $162 for an advanced three-day general admission pass. Single day tickets will also become available soon.
