Shakira may be one of the most wild performers on the planet, but for her new single, the Columbian superstar decided to get tame. On Friday (Jan. 8), Shakira released her Zootopia soundtrack single "Try Everything," and the kid-friendly tune features plenty of sunny, optimistic lyrics and a singsong melody.

Shakira's signature throaty vocals are what really make "Try Everything," but the hook will also drag you in. Though the lyrics are a little bit of a generic optimistic portrait, the melody is a gleeful little tune that will have you whistling while you leave the theatres. And it makes sense that the song is catchy; Entertainment Weekly reports "Try Everything" was co-written by Sia.

"Nobody learns without giving it more / I won't give up, no I won't give in / Till I reach the end, then I'll start again / No I won't leave / I want to try everything / I want to try even though I could fail," Shakira sings in the chorus, in the sort of pattern that just begs for you to join her.

"Try Everything," which is out now, is one song off the Zootopia soundtrack, and it's not Shakira's only contribution to the film. She also voices a pop star Gazelle in the Disney movie. This film marks Shakira's acting debut.

Zootopia, which also features the voices of Idris Elba, Ginnifer Goodwin, Jason Bateman, J.K. Simmons and Jenny Slate, will be released in theatres on March 4.
