Phish has announced the release of its first album in almost five years. Their twelfth studio album, titled Fuego, is due out June 24, according to NPR.
The 10-track effort premiered live on Halloween in 2013 at their Atlantic City, New Jersey show. They teamed up with producer Bob Ezrin, who has worked with Alice Cooper, KISS, Lou Reed, Pink Floyd, Peter Gabriel, Dr. John, Deftones, Taylor Swift, and Nine Inch Nails, to record the album in studio.
The album was mastered by Bob Ludwig, who has made albums with Led Zeppelin, The Rolling Stones, Bruce Springsteen, Nirvana, Coldplay and Daft Punk.
Phish shared the studio version of their new track "Waiting All Night" with NPR in anticipation for the album release. They'll also kick off their extensive summer tour starting July 1 in Mansfield, MA.
