Vasectomies might not be the end-all, be-all that we thought they were—at least not for New York Jets football star Antonio Cromartie and his wife Terricka, who are expecting twins five years after Cromartie got snipped. If that wasn't enough, these two surprise bundles will be the baller's 11th and 12th children. So clearly, fertility is not an issue for the football player, or his wife of eight years.

Terricka reportedly originally learned she was pregnant in October after rushing to the hospital when cramps became too painful to bear. She was in total shock and disbelief when the routine pregnancy test came positive—so much so that she didn't even tell her husband at first. "I didn't even tell Antonio right away because I didn't think it was possible," she told Us Weekly. "I was going back and forth in my head how it could even happen. In my head we were good to go, we were having free sex! I just really thought that his procedure was the best protection you could have at this point."

Once she told Cromartie, after getting over the shock, he was in complete support of his wife and their growing family. "It was shocking news for the both of us," Terricka said. "It took me a while to process it, but Antonio stood firm and was saying, 'It's God's will.' And he's been excited the whole time."

In addition to the daughter and son the Cromarties already share, Antonio has eight children from seven different previous relationships. Blended families are a big part of the couple's life; so big, in fact that they're currently working on a reality show and a book on the subject. We wonder how much rewriting has to happen now that there are two more mini characters to add to the storylines.

A few days before the couple announced they were expecting once again, Cromartie was making jokes following the news of a new available child support card that controls what parents can buy with child support money. Cromartie took a screenshot of the headline and captioned it, "Sign me up TODAY!!!! [laughing emojis] Nah but forreal though... [emoji] lol."

At the time, it was thought that the Jets cornerback was referring to the child support that he's currently paying on six of his 10 children—a reported $3,500 per month. But now it has been revealed that he and his wife had two more buns in the oven, child support might be the least of his worries. Since their first attempt at permanent protection didn't work, though, Terricka plans to get her tubes tied after the babies are born. Congrats to the Cromarties and their ever-growing family!
