Looks like Gucci Mane isn't the only artist trying to use his free time behind bars to his advantage. Chris Brown is the latest to make headlines from putting his pen to use.

According to TMZ, Brown has been writing music with James DeBarge while the two serve time in L.A. County Jail.

The site reports that the two singers are side-by-side occupants in a special section of the facility for high-profile inmates.

Brown and DeBarge have been collaborating on music and have already written three songs.

Reports say the two practice the songs during the day with other cell-mates harmonizing.

That's pretty amazing considering the fact that this is all going down all while they are out of view from one another.

It may be safe to say that Chris Brown will be making an epic comeback upon his release.

Breezy was recently sentenced to an additional 131 days in jail.

The sentencing came after Brown confessed to his probation violation.

As previously reported, Superior Court Judge James R. Brandlin sentenced Brown to serve a year in county jail but gave him credit for nearly eight months.

The "Loyal" singer received credit for time he has spent in rehab and jail, as well as credits for good behavior while behind bars.

Brown admitted his involvement in the Washington, D.C. assault case during his court appearance. By his admission of guilt, Brown waived his rights to an evidentiary hearing in which prosecutors would have to prove that he violated his probation.

DeBarge is behind bars for drug charges.
