Madonna is not happy with some of her fans -- and has no qualms about spreading the word via social media.
She took to Instagram to deny rumors that she performed drunk at a Louisville, Kentucky, stop of her Rebel Heart Tour, and is blasted Jack White from the stage for being “too laid back” during her show.
According to TMZ, some sources at her show claimed that she was “very drunk” or “a little drunk but funny.” One woman told TMZ : “Madonna was an awesome performer, but man, she was a b*tch. Trash talked Kentuckians and spoke in a fake hillbilly accent.” Many fans screamed at Madonna during the show, TMZ said, but that most didn’t regret shelling out the money for a ticket.
Rebutting the rumors that she was drunk onstage, Madonna posted a picture of herself performing to Instagram. She said in an extra-long caption that she would not be able to exert herself to that extent if she were not sober.
On Monday, Madonna turned on Jack White at her Nashville show, claiming he looked too “laid back” during her performances.
“Don’t be laid back, just ‘cause you’re famous. I’m famous too, you know,” NME quoted Madonna as calling out during her performance.
White blew a kiss toward the stage in response.
It's on the first time on this tour that Madonna's clashed with fans. At her gig in Manchester, England, on Dec. 14, fans booed her onstage after she arrived 50 minutes late; angry concertgoers unleashed some pretty unhappy tweets about her tardiness.
According to Billboard, Madonna yelled at the audience: “Thank you all of you for waiting. I don’t like to be late, by the way, and all you b*tches who keep complaining about it can shut the f*ck up. I’m not back there eating chocolates and filing my nails and getting my extensions done.”
The video of the incident has since been removed from the Web.
