Canadian electronic music duo Bob Moses are making massive strides over the past 12 months from being a relatively unknown group to an act billed at some of the top festivals worldwide like Coachella, Governors Ball and Sònar. They have been touring on the back of their new album Days Gone By and were tabbed by Ellen to perform the LP track "Tearing Me Up."

Ellen introduces them by professing her love for the duo, telling the camera that she heard their music in the car the other day and decided she had to have them in and perform.

The duo take over with a minimal live production, which has been a part of the day-time music presence with Ellen. A lot of the late-night performers have been trying to one-up each other with more extravagant production each time, while day-time keeps it simple.

Jimmy Vallance mans the keyboard and mans the various laptops and Launchpads to keep the track going on schedule. Tom Howie croons right next to Vallance, strumming away on his guitar. Their music is downtempo enough to make daytime television an ideal place for their American television debut and they are good enough performers to handle the stage.

"Tearing Me Up" is taken from the Canadian duo's album Days Gone By, released in September 2015. The duo are wrapping up a short tour in the U.S. with dates in San Francisco and Denver this weekend. They will then head to Europe for two weeks in the beginning of March, before gearing up for festival season starting with Coachella in April.
