London-based singer-songwriter Kathleen Anne Brien, aka Katy B, has recruited Major Lazer, Craig David, Jamie Jones, Four Tet and Floating Points among others for her forthcoming album, Honey, which is due out April 29 via Rinse/Virgin EMI.
The vocalist shared the title track collaboration with Montreal-based producer KAYTRANADA. Listen to "Honey" below:
Also featured on the singer's third full-length studio album are Gorgon City, Geenus, Novelist, Hannah Wants, MssingNo, Wilkinson and Mr. Mitch. Check out the full tracklist below at the end of this article.
Brien teased the album in December with the lead single "Calm Down," which features production from Four Tet and Floating Points. Listen to "Calm Down" below.
A note in the Soundcloud stream of "Honey" states that the forthcoming album includes a previously unheard version of Brien's rendition of KDA's "Turn The Music Louder (Rumble)." Watch the video for the version of the track featuring Tinie Tempah, which dropped last October, below.
In a statement about the project, Brien said: "I always love performing at places like Warehouse Project or Fabric, and I wanted to have new songs that I could perform at that sort of gig. Just a few things to remind people what I was about," Pitchfork reports.
Additionally, the artist is holding an album launch party this Friday, Jan. 29 at London's XOYO, MixMag reports. Joining Brien on the bill are Hannah Wants, Bok Bok, Spoony, Ms Dynamite, Josey Rebelle, Yasmin and Mr. Mitch .
Honey follows 2014's Little Red which featured production credits from Rinse FM's Geenus, Jacques Greene and Joker. The singer's debut release, 2011's On a Mission, also featured collaborations with an impressive roster of producers including Benga and Magnetic Man.
