Flea has always been outspoken, but takes his opinions on Donald Trump to a new level in a new interview, calling the Republican candidate a “blustering guy” and making it clear he still doesn't like Trump. Flea is absolutely not a fan of Trump. If anything, the Red Hot Chili Peppers member gave a scathing review of Trump and prefers to support Bernie Sanders.
“I can’t take Donald Trump or anything he says seriously,” Flea said to Rolling Stone. “I just think that he’s a silly reality-show bozo and blustering guy who likes getting attention. I don’t think he wants to be president, and I don’t think he has a chance to be the president. He’s just some egotistical, silly person whose main concern in life is getting a blowjob. He wants to be on TV and he wants everyone to think he’s important.”
Flea further said to Rolling Stone that, “This guy literally has never said a single thing about anything that actually affects an issue that has anything to do with anyone in America’s reality. He’s never said anything like he is going to help working class people or poor people. I guess he can help rich people get tax breaks. He’s a real-estate bozo who was born rich and has parlayed it from being a money-scammer guy.”
Flea is decidedly for candidate Bernie Sanders and they are reportedly performing as headliners for a sold-out benefit for him this upcoming Saturday in Los Angeles. The Bernie Sanders Benefit Concert is scheduled to take place at The Theatre in the trendy Ace Hotel.
Shortly after their headlining gig was announced, Flea wrote on Instagram that he felt great to be able to support Sanders because he believes he has integrity. Flea expressly said that he feels that most candidates are grabbibg every cent that they can from lobbyists, while Sanders only accepts small donations from individuals.
