Preparing for the release of his debut album, BJ The Chicago Kid has just dropped another track to keep fans excited. The singer has teamed up to put together the track, "The New Cupid," and it is finally hear for the full listen!

The new soulful track is the third single off the upcoming album, My Mind, which also features Chance the Rapper, Big K.R.I.T. and more. "The New Cupid" samples Raphael Saadiq's famous song, "Oh Girl," and you can catch BJ singing about how love is gone and cupid has abandoned his job. But no need to freight! BJ sings his way into our hearts about covering Cupid's tracks.

Of course, Kendrick Lamar jumps in and donates his smooth vibes to the track as he raps, "As I play out the Commodores/My faith destroyed/My heart don't work/I'm unemployed."

My Mind is due to drop next week but it's available for pre-order and thanks to NPR, it can be streamed in advance. The 15-track album also has features from Isabella, Isa, Buddy and Constantine. The album is BJ's first debut album under Motown Records but he is well known for his previous work. BJ has lended his vocals on tracks for Kehlani, ScHoolboy Q, David Banner, Kanye West and more. He has also previously released four mixtapes, one EP and one other studio album. Talk about staying busy!
