Jack White took some time from feuding with the Black Keys, Adele and his past bandmate Meg White and played a rocking set this past weekend at Houston's Free Press Summer Fest.

The White Stripe, who is on the cover of this month's Rolling Stone, and the subject of an in-depth interview, stepped onstage in Texas and hashed out a set filled with tunes from his time in both the White Stripes and the Raconteurs, as well as more recent material from his previous album, Blunderbuss.

Toward the beginning of the set, White delighted the crowd and played two songs from his upcoming album, Lazaretto. He rocked out to the previously released "High Ball Stepper" and went on to introduce "Temporary Ground" afterwards.

If White's set did anything, other than solidify why the guy is an all out rock star, it most certainly got us all the more excited for Lazaretto's upcoming release, which is on June 10 – one week from tomorrow.

It seems White has been making headlines all over the place in the past month or so, mainly due to his recent quarrels with fellow rockers the Black Keys. And when the Rolling Stone issue came out, the rock star fell under immense scrutiny because of comments made towards fellow musicians Amy Winehouse, Adele and even Meg White. However, he's recently issued an apology via his own website.
