Flume is prepping his sophomore album Skin and has already released very different singles in "Never Be Like You" featuring Kai and "Smoke & Retribution" with Vince Staples. Now he has released the music video for the "Never Be Like You" collaboration with Kai that taps into the distorted creative process of Clemens Habincht, who worked with Flume on his "Some Minds" video.

The video is a wavy and trippy interpretation of the honest and painful love song. "Never Be Like You" stars Sam Reid and Sophie Lowe in a slow love story about the two lovebirds in their apartment drinking champagne and falling over each other on the coach and eventually making their way to a bed. The trippy, wavy effects keeps things SFW, but just barely as you can't see much exposed skin that becomes distorted and twisted.

Flume even makes a cameo as her lover for a short time during the video.

The video is very similar to that of the "Some Minds" clip, which was released in May 2015. It has the similar effects, though Flume's body was more distorted as he danced around the Sydney Opera House.

Ever since he released the album teaser, he has been mum about a potential release date, only saying he was close to being finished with the album and it should be out soon.

Fans hope that Flume will provide some more details regarding Skin sometime soon, especially a tracklist or release date. Thus far he has already worked across the spectrum with rappers and singers, but thus far hasn't shared any other collaborations.
