M83 are making a big comeback in 2016 with a completed album on the way and a massive tour this summer around North America and Europe. The "Midnight City" group have announced a new batch of tour dates along their spring and summer North American tour.
The tour will kick off on April 6 in New Orleans and will mix in theater and amphitheater shows with some festival gigs like Coachella, Sasquatch!, Governors Ball and Firefly. The new shows help round out their June schedule, taking place in Salt Lake City, Pittsburgh. Kansas City, Charlotte and elsewhere.
In December, Justin Meldal-Johnsen announced that the group had finished the follow-up to 2011's Grammy nominated album Hurry Up We're Dreaming. Details about the project have been scarce, but fans are eagerly waiting on new music from Anthony Gonzalez as the band gears up to go on tour.
Pre-sale tickets become available tomorrow, Feb. 17 through his website before the general on-sale begins, Friday, Feb. 19.
