Los Angeles producer ZHU has unveiled the music video for his new track "In The Morning." The video comes in a flurry of activity by ZHU's standard after he announced his first ever headlining tour yesterday with fellow Mind Of A Genius signee Gallant in support.
The new video is another strange and artistic interpretation on the track that ZHU has crafted. It samples or pays homage to Rui da Silva's 2002 classic "Touch Me," which has the line "touch me in the morning." The video is a sensual interpretation of the track, taking place on some beautiful coastline. The visuals have a distinctly red and pinkish tint to match the theme of love and sexuality. It features an Asian woman on the beach who gives birth to a strange six or nine shaped crustacean that spontaneously combusts.
Possibly the most important piece that fans can take away from this video is that this is the first time we have gotten a good view of ZHU except for old pictures that have since been scrubbed off of the internet. Unless this is a body double for the man, then this is a good view of ZHU.
ZHU's Neon City Tour will kick off at Coachella and then over the next month he will tour across North America, hitting 18 different cities.
