Miguel has invested quite a bit into his Wildheart single "Waves." He released a music video to the original back in October and then at the January he unveiled the Travi$ Scott remix of the track, which is slated to be a part of the greater remix EP Rogue Waves. Also included on the remix EP are a pretty wide variety of artists like Tame Impala, Kacey Musgraves, RAC, Scott and Joshua Tree.

The Tame Impala remix takes the track to a more psychedelic realm, which many have been exposed to on the group's recent album Currents. It fits the track with Miguel's ascetic as they reconstruct the instrumental and allow Miguel to handle the vocals.

RAC return to the world of remixing, which earned him a Grammy nomination this past year with a blissful, beach-ready version.

Joshua Tree play on the strengths of the track and accentuate the guitars for a more acoustic rendition of "Waves."

The Kacey Musgraves remix, possibly the most left-field of the bunch, will be reserved for tomorrow, when the whole package is released.

The Scott remix is the most hip-hop remix of them all and has already been released with a music video as well.

Speaking to The Fader, Miguel explained how he chose the artists on the EP and why he decided to go all in on Waves.

"One of my favorite song writers of all time, Diane Warren, once told me 'a great song will always be a great f*cking song regardless if the style of music behind it,'" Miguel said. "We just think 'Waves' is a great song, and since it's also a fan favorite off Wildheart, we thought it'd be fun to ask a few of my favorite artists to give it their own sound and see how diverse the songs' reach could be."

The Rogue Waves EP will be released tomorrow, Feb. 26. Listen to the Tame Impala, RAC and Joshua Tree remixes below.
