Kesha has recorded a new song to thank her fans following the Sony court decision a week ago, where an injunction that would terminate her contract with Dr. Luke and Sony in order to record new music was denied.

Dr. Luke has maintained his innocence in Kesha’s allegations that the producer drugged and raped her, however the legal battle between the two is likely to continue.

The clip is only 27 seconds, but the message is powerful.

“I don’t know what I would do without you,” Kesha belts in the clip of her new song. “I don’t know where I would be, without,” as the song snippet abruptly cuts out.

Her lawyer, Mark Geragos, first released the clip to Twitter and wrote as a caption, “A special thanks to everyone who has had her back.”

The #FreeKesha movement has been trending ever since the decision to not release the singer from her contracts was made a week ago. Fans of the singer even held a protest outside of Sony’s offices in New York City this past Friday (Feb. 26) in order to make a statement for Kesha.

Sony Music for its part has claimed that they are unable to fully release Kesha from her contract because it is held by Dr. Luke’s personal company, Kasz Money. Kasz Money reportedly holds a separate deal with Sony RCA/Jive and because of this separate deal Sony is unable to completely terminate the contract based just on allegations.

“Sony has made it possible for Kesha to record without any connection, involvement or interaction with Luke whatsoever, but Sony is not in a position to terminate the contractual relationship between Luke and Kesha,” Sony’s lawyer, Scott Edelman, said in a statement to The New York Times.
