It's hard to believe that it'll be a year since Kendrick Lamar released his sophomore album, To Pimp a Butterfly, and he may be preparing to release some more music this year. TDE's CEO, Top Dawg, has revealed via Instagram the 2016 release schedule for the TDE roster and there might be two newly signed artists. Exciting news!

According to Complex, Top Dawg posted a photo on Instagram that laid out the current status of the following artists: Kendrick, ScHoolboy Q, SZA, Isaiah Rashad, Jay Rock, Ab-Soul and the two unnamed new artists. Take a look at the Instagram post:

Shit about to get nasty real soon... I told y'all I got y'all in 2016 #TDE

This is exactly what fans have been waiting for: a simple update on their favorite artists. The photo also hints that there may be a Black Hippy album coming in 2017. Not much has been taking place with the TDE crew lately, so this information brings hope. Between Kendrick's Grammy performance, the alternate visual version of "Collard Greens," and Isaiah's recent release, "Smile," fans are feeling a bit neglected and like they haven't received enough from TDE. According to Complex though, Top Dawg recently hinted that ScHoolboy Q's sophomore album will be dropping before the summer time. A fan asked via Twitter if the album would drop before summer or after and Top Dawg responded with this tweet:

Looking forward to what comes from TDE soon! We will keep you posted as more news updates.
