The American Horror Story franchise has always brought back its favorite cast members to take on new roles every season. Sarah Paulson, Jessica Lange, Kathy Bates, Evan Peters and more have all taken on multiple characters in Ryan Murphy's universe - but what about Lady Gaga?

After winning a Golden Globe for her role as "The Countess" in the show's fifth season, American Horror Story: Hotel, one of the biggest questions surrounding season 6 has been whether or not the "Til It Happens to You" singer will be returning to the show. And, in a new interview, she revealed the answer: "Yes."

Speaking to New York City radio station Z100 on Friday (March 4), Gaga revealed she'll be back for AHS season 6, but she didn't reveal much more than that.

"I can't promise you how or when or anything like that," she said (via Variety), but confirmed she will be returning in some capacity.

Gaga's return to the American Horror Story franchise will be some wish fulfillment for the show's creator. In October, Ryan Murphy announced on Twitter that he had already asked her to return for the sixth season.

Other than the return of Gaga, there is very little information about season 6 of AHS. Murphy has only admitted that the new season will be different than Hotel.

"The next thing we're crafting up is very, very different than this. Not smaller. But just not opulent. More rogue and more dark," he said in an interview with EW in August.
