Singer-songwriter Rob Reinfurt's new music project, Night Marcher, is one of the most revealing looks into an artist's mind and demons that music fans could ever experience. After a possession charge halted his career a few years ago, Reinfurt is back with his reflective, soulful psychedelic outfit's debut album, Modern Maze, set for a Spring 2016 release. Recently, we were treated to a mesmerizing new music video for the record's opening track, "Scars." You can watch the visual for this song below.

Before we get into the music video, check out the tracklist for this 2016 record right here:

1. Scars
2. Broken Path
3. Saint
4. Mask
5. Mistakes
6. Holy Ghost
7. Shoved
8. Chin Up
9. People are Screaming Jesus
10. Kro

As you can see from these song titles, Night Marcher is Reinfurt's portal for reflection on his drug charges that almost ruined his life. We know that he's moved on to a more positive outlook on life, but the scars are still there.

"Scars" is an apt opener for a very personal collection of songs. He has reminders of his mistakes (another song title, by the way), but he isn't trying to hide them.

Reinfurt explains that his new band name is influenced by the Medeski, Martin and Wood song "Night Marchers." Clearly feeling an attachment to the song and its title, some research revealed that this term refers to ghosts of ancient Hawaiian warriors, according to Hawaiian folklore.

This description has me thinking that Reinfurt's past haunts him like a relentless ghost, but he's accepted it all and has created some really great music.

An official release date has yet to be announced for Modern Maze, but a "to be announced" Spring window is what Night Marcher is hoping for.
