Mixing a sound that owned the airwaves in the mid-'90s and an influence from their homeland of Stockholm, Sweden, swamp blues/rock duo The Lost Poets return in 2016 with the followup record to their acclaimed 2014 album Insubordia with the aptly titled Insubordia PT II. This next installment of the band's album series is dark, brooding and, well, everything you'd want from the band. You can listen to this new album's stream below!
What alternative hard rock groups did about 20 years ago, The Lost Poets have reinvigorated and added in the bluesy duo aspect of music that has taken over in the last few years. If you're a fan of Queens of the Stone Age's guitar tones, Deftones' dark compositions and the Stone Temple Pilots' dreary yet powerful vocalizations, you're in the right spot.
While the music that this band makes speaks for itself, the latest music video for the Insubordia PT II lead single, "Danny Electro," shows off the band's mysteriousness and macabre appeal. Check it out right here (via YouTube):
