Katy Perry isn't just in the business of making her own music, the "Birthday" singer is also looking to get into the record label game. After teasing an announcement for hours on her Twitter, today (June 17), Perry announced a new venture for herself: her own record imprint.

Under the umbrella of her label Capitol Records, Perry will be heading up the imprint called Metamorphosis Music, she announced. And she's already signed her first singer: Prismatic World Tour opener Ferras.

"I am so ECSTATIC to finally announced my NEW label Metamorphosis Music & my first signing, the incredibly talented & soulful FERRAS! @ferras," Perry tweeted this afternoon.

Perry's imprint announcement comes in with a mighty "Roar," as Ferras' first, self-titled EP dropped today alongside the announcement. Among the five songs on the album - which was executive produced by Perry - one track includes a very special guest... you guessed it: Katy Perry.

Entitled "Legends Never Die," the new single begins quietly, with nothing but a soft piano accompanying whispered vocals from Ferras. The song slowly and softly builds into the chorus, which kicks in with a bit more emotive vocals, a swell of strings and some small yet explosive kettle drums.

Then, the real groove of the song kicks in, with a more twinkling beat taking over as Perry blasts through her verse on the single.
