While Taylor Swift stunned everyone over the weekend at the iHeartRadio Music Awards, she made a surprise appearance at the 2016 GLAAD Media Awards as a presenter, too. While she wasn't a confirmed guest for the 27th annual event, she showed up to present the Stephen F. Kolzak Award to Orange is the New Black actress Ruby Rose. Even the Instagram model turned Netflix series star was surprised!

The taping of the GLAAD Media Awards took place on Saturday April 2, and featured members of the media that furthered the message of the organization through different formats. The Stephen F. Kolzak Award is "presented to an LGBT media professional who has made a significant difference in promoting equality and acceptance" each year. Thanks to her rise to fame in 2015, Ruby Rose was a clear winner this time around.

"Tonight I'm here to honor someone who through her words and through her actions, proves that she is a force of nature. She tells the world that no one can judge us and no one can stop us," Swift said while presenting the award to Rose, according to UPROXX. "She is a woman of many talents. She is my friend."

In her moving acceptance speech, Ruby Rose spoke about the hardships she's dealt with and the pride she feels for her community. You can check out this acceptance speech in a video over at GLAAD's official website.

Tune in for the one-hour awards ceremony premiering on Logo this Monday, April 4 at 10pm ET/PT.
