We're not quite sure if they're fans of the famed Harry Potter, but either way, last night's Tonight Show segment in which singer / hip-hop artist Black Thought rapped about the fantasy series was an absolute win for Philly's own The Roots.

The band is a group that can seemingly do no wrong. Not only do they maintain a constant career as one of the greatest bands in music, but also, they somehow manage to hold that title while having a day job at The Tonight Show. And they're not ashamed to put their own expert musicianship aside for a little comedy.

Celebrating their weeklong stay at the Universal Orlando Resort, comedian/host Jimmy Fallon kicked off the Suggestion Box bit by pulling a question from a fan asking if there's any way to combine both Harry Potter and rap music. Naturally, seeing who the host has as a backing band, the answer was a unanimous "yes."

Claiming Black Thought to be a huge fan of the book / film series (SPOILER: we're guessing he's not), Fallon asked the guys to give the crowd a little taste of a Harry Potter rap. And, of course, it was done flawlessly.

Tackling all of the fan favorites – butter-beer, half-blood wizards, Gryffindor, Azkaban, Hermione, Ron, Quidditch, and of course, He Who Must Not Be Named (Lord Voldemort) – The Roots' Harry Potter rap may just be our favorite Fallon bit yet.

Let's give a little kudos to the band for tossing in a plug for Universal's Wizarding World of Harry Potter, by the way. That was rather impressive.
