ZHU and Kaskade have teamed up in a heavyweight new rework of the "Faded" producer's new single "In The Morning" that sees minds from the old school and the new school meet on one brilliant track.

The collaboration was teased on Friday when ZHU posted a picture of the album art on his socials, a rarity so fans knew something big was coming, with Kaskade's name added on with the caption "soon."

Come today, April 11, the track has been released across all portals.

The track keeps a few of the elements of the original, but Kaskade's presence is distinctly felt. The sound of his soothing deep house mid-2000s tracks like "4am" are brought to the fore with a steady bass line and guitar chords and slides that come to dominate the melody. ZHU's falsetto adds to the calm felt in the new version of "In The Morning."

This new version is quite different from the original by ZHU who had a more stripped back approach with synths, piano and some sexy saxophone. The new version comes straight out of the old-school Kaskade playbook with ZHU adapting some of his vocals to the guitars. Both work for different moods and DJ sets that should appeal to both sets of fans despite the change of sound.

ZHU is heading out on his Neon City Tour starting this weekend at Coachella and then over the next month he will perform in various venues across North America. The mysterious producer will perform in cities like Toronto, Miami, New York City, Chicago and Denver. He will be supported by fellow Mind Of A Genius signee Gallant.
