Fatboy Slim and Idris Elba are up to something. Fatboy Slim, real name Norman Cook, has teamed up with The Wire star on a new song that is for the upcoming action film Bastille Day.

Speaking to NME, Cook spoke about the song that has been under wraps for some time.

"I've just done something with Idris Elba for his next film, which is quite interesting," Cook revealed. "I don't know if it's under wraps so I don't want to get in trouble by saying too much. It's called Bastille Day, and we've written a song together, and Idris sings on it which is fun."

Explaining how the two Brits came together on this project, Slim added, "I've seen him DJ many times, that's how we ended up knowing each other. We share the same management so we're often on the bill together, and that's how we became pals."

Bastille Day is an action flick based in Paris where the main character played by Elba, a CIA agent named Sean Briar, is investigating a bomb attack in the city. Game Of Thrones star, Richard Madden, Charlotte Le Bon, José Garcia and others join him on the cast.

This isn't the first time Slim and Elba have collaborated. They teamed up last year on a remix of Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars' ubiquitous "Uptown Funk."

This wouldn't be the first big music project that Stringer Bell would have his name on this year. He added some haunting vocals to Macklemore & Ryan Lewis' This Unruly Mess I've Made song "Dance Off."

Bastille Day will be released in theaters on April 22, though it isn't clear when the track will hit stores.
