A$AP Ferg, who just released his new album, Always Strive and Prosper, got involved in a car accident on Friday (April 22) while on his way to Coachella's second weekend at Indio, California, but the rapper appears to be okay as he posted a brief video about what happened.

Immediately after the accident, Ferg, whose real name is Darold Ferguson, shared a self-shot video to his fans on Twitter saying, "I got in a crazy crash just now." He then showed the damage on the car in front of him.

After sharing the video, he once again tweeted saying, "I'm straight thank God for the seatbelt." Although it was hard to tell in the video about how severe the crash is, fans are glad that the "New Level" artist is safe and appeared fine, Billboard reported.

According to NME, the incident happened the same day of the release of his new album, Always Strive and Prosper which is a follow up of 2013's Trap Lord. The album is just his second LP which features music like “FLEM,” with a production from Kirk Knight.

His album also includes guest artists like Future, Big Sean, Public Enemy’s Chuck D, Skrillex, Schoolboy Q, Chris Brown, Rick Ross and Missy Elliott, High Snobiety reported.
