Spring Awakening Music Festival has announced its complete 2016 lineup. Among those who will headline the three-day EDM festival include Kaskade, Above & Beyond, Jamie xx, deadmau5, Dillon Francis and Gesaffelstein.
The lineup is already broken down by stage with many of the major headlining acts like Dash Berlin, The Chainsmokers, Dada Life, Steve Aoki, Kaskade, Above & Byeond and Dillon Francis performing on the DJ stage.
The second main stage is the electronic stage, which will welcome the likes of Crystal Castles, Jamie xx, Flux Pavilion, Flying Lotus, Madeon, RL Grime, The Knocks, deadmau5, Gesaffelstein and others.
There will be plenty of branded stages such as the trance arena with ATB, Cosmic Gate, Aly & Fila and others, All Gone Pete, helmed by the man himself, Maya Jane Coles and Green Velvet and the bass kitchen with Datsik, Feed Me and Alison Wonderland.
Claude VonStroke will host his own birdhouse with Nicole Moudaber, Catz N Dogs, Danny Daze and Simian Mobile Disco.
2016 has been a tumultuous year for the festival trying to get everything set. It's operator, React Presents, is one of the many properties in flux from the ongoing SFX Entertainment bankruptcy negotiations. As a result, some of the lineup was leaked in court documents nearly a month ago.
Also it had trouble finding a home, having to move several times with issues securing the right permits. It has found its final home, hopefully, at Adamns/Medill Park.
