Mad Decent Block Party has announced its 2016 lineup and it is big. The 15-stop tour will hit 13 different cities across North America and Diplo is bringing some very special guests on the road with him. Among those who have been announced for the tour include Kaskade, DJ Snake, Tiesto, Dillon Francis, Flosstradamus, RL Grime and even Kesha. Yes Kesha will be heading out on the Mad Decent Block Party Tour. What a time.
The lineups vary by city, but other names that will join the tour include Baauer, Tory Lanez, Tchami, Keys N Krates, GRiZ, Jauz, Lil Dicky and AlunaGeorge.
As one should expect from the Mad Decent Block Party, or anything booked by Diplo's Mad Decent, there is a solid mixture of different acts in dance music, hip-hop and even a little pop.
He tabs Kaskade, Galantis and Tiësto as names to help bring in the masses, but then dives into various subgenres that would fit into the Mad Decent family for the rest of his DJ bookings. Acts like What So Not, Alison Wonderland, Tropkillaz, Marshmello, JSTJR, Grandtheft and Le Youth all make sense in that context.
Some rappers and hip-hop DJs will also add a different element to the tour like Tory Lanez, Lil Dicky, D.R.A.M., Boi-1da and Rich The Kid.
