Comedian Dave Chappelle has been making the rounds as of late in order to promote his current string of stand up shows in New York's own Radio City Music Hall. The shows are now well underway and making headlines galore each and every night. Just last week, Chappelle had Kanye West make a surprise performance, which delighted both the crowd and the Internet alike.

During his show this past Monday, the comedian brought out hip-hop's own Nas for a stellar performance and pretty much shut down Radio City.

Following Chappelle's stand up set, the rap icon took to the stage and performed his iconic debut 1994 Illmatic alongside the Dave Chappelle Orchestra. His introduction included a screen display that counted back from 2014 all the way to 1994, when Nas' Illmatic was released.

Check out this fan-footage of Nas taking to the stage below:

After performing Illmatic in its entirety, the rapper churned out a few classics including the ever so popular "Hate Me Now" and the crowd-favorite "If I Ruled The World (Imagine That)."

Watch Nas perform "N.Y. State of Mind," off Illmatic:

Chappelle has three more shows at Radio City and is rumored to be bringing in the likes of Busta Rhymes, DJ Premier, Janelle Monáe and Erykah Badu to perform following his sets.

It seems Chappelle went through a lot to promote these Radio City shows. Was it all just for the shows, or is there something else brewing for the comedian? Perhaps ... another TV show? Let us know your thoughts below!
