Iggy Azalea and her fiance Nick Young have split over a cheating scandal and trust issues.
The break-up comes a full three months after Young was reportedly involved with a cheating scandal. The couple allegedly had been trying to move past it, but it appears that they were unable to. The “Fancy” rapper announced the end of her engagement to Young to fans on Instagram.
“Unfortunately although I love Nick and have tried to rebuild my trust in him - It’s become apparent in the last few weeks I am unable to,” Azalea wrote on Instagram this past Sunday (June 19). “I genuinely wish Nick the best. It’s never easy to part ways with the person you planned your entire future with, but futures can be rewritten and as of today mine is a blank page.”
This past March, a video popped up of Young boasting about his trysts with other women while he had been dating Azalea. The video was reportedly released online by teammate D’Angelo Russell. Young seemed to confirm the video in a press conference following one of his games with the LA Lakers, saying that “what happened is what happened” according to People.

Azalea shot back by saying that “nothing really” was going on with the couple following the videos release and that she wasn’t “tryna marry a cheater.” But despite her commentary, she then showed off a yellow diamond engagement ring on the red carpet at the iHeartRadio Music Awards.
Their split seems an about face from Azalea’s joking about the cheating rumors, as well as expressing that she needed to see real proof before she would believe the rumors.
