Although she just split from Calvin Harris, Taylor Swift is apparently head over heels for Thor actor Tom Hiddleston. Apparently, the rarely single Swift believes that Hiddleston might be “the one.”
“Taylor was hesitant to get involved so quickly after Adam,” a source said to E! News. “But she felt that Adam was not giving her what she wanted for some time so she was ready to move on towards the tail end of their relationship anyway.”
The source said that when Swift met Hiddleston “there was an immediate attraction.” “She felt like she was a little school girl with a huge crush. She loves the fact that Tom acts like such a mature man. She loves that he is older. She feels very safe and protected with him. The attraction is very strong.”
The two have been photographed together on the beach in Rhode Island and according to the source are on the road to dating. The source further said that Swift is not on the rebound mode and believes that the new relationship with Hiddleston is the real deal.
The singer’s high profile new romance with Hiddleston was also on display at a recent Selena Gomez concert, where the two danced together along with her best friend Abigail, her brother Austin, and fellow singer Kelsey Ballerini.
The Harris-Swift split was reported to be amicable at first, but the Scottish DJ recently deleted all the photos of Swift from his Instagram page.
Shortly after the split, a source reported some reasons for the break-up to People, but cheating was not one of them.
“Harris said on multiple occasions that he was intimidated by Taylor, which is why he would not attend events where she was being honored or any awards shows unless he was nominated,” the source said. “Taylor is a very independent young woman, and she realizes it will take a very secure man to handle her success.”
