If you search for the beautiful wedding photos of Jill Scott and her new husband, Mike Dobson, on Instagram where they were first revealed, you'll now find the "content unavailable" notice after the pics were deleted by DJ Mars, the person who probably shouldn't have shared the news or the photos of the couple's Saturday private ceremony in the first place.

Scott is no stranger to being in love, falling out of love and singing about love but over the weekend, she showed how even after a divorce, love is still possible with the right one. Dobson became the right one on June 25 in what seems to have been a private ceremony that only a select few knew full details of. Close friend to the groom, DJ Mars, was one of those people who wasn't privy to the details of the couple's union, as reported by People, but once he found out, he quickly shared the good news on Instagram.

Captioned with a photo of Scott wearing a plunging white dress, Dobson and two children, DJ Mars wrote: "This wedding made my summer! I've known Mike for almost 20 years, but dude could have alluded to the fact that he was marrying Jill Scott(lol)!"

According to the details revealed on the now deleted posts, DJ Mars was hired by his good friend to DJ the wedding a long time ago but, was never told anything about who his friend would be marrying. It was only when he witnessed the Woman singer walking down the aisle that he realized the bride to be was none other than "Jilly from Philly."

The 44-year-old has experienced marriage and divorce with ex Lyzell Williams and also has a son from her former relationship with her drummer that formed after the divorce. Scott has always been open and honest about her struggles to find real love and not falling head over heels for a relationship based on infatuation. In a 2013 Rolling Out interview to promote her then new film, Baggage Claim, the soulful vocalist explained how if and when she decided to give love another try, it would be handled with a changed mentality.

"We get caught up in someone's looks, or their money, but not the person. Or, we're into someone for a couple of months and then the novelty fades and we're on to the next," explained Scott three years ago in speaking about her divorce. "Love is bigger than just the emotion for the moment. Love requires patience. It requires communication. It requires and demands mutual respect and understanding. In this quick-paced world, we want immediate gratification. Our idea of love and having that is great, but the immediate gratification of having it all is what most people are after in this microwavable world. That's what makes it such a challenge. We have to change our mentality if we want relationships that will last."

According to Scott, making the exact same commitment, having a mutual respect and understanding of one another's likes and dislikes; and also being able to have open communication and trust is what makes for a great relationship. Although DJ Mars couldn't keep it to himself, he did manage to share how an idea to have Scott's favorite rapper perform at the ceremony was the brainchild of his friend Dobson, proving that he definitely knows his woman's likes and dislikes and how to make her smile.

"So, Mike Dobson called me and said, 'I'm going to surprise my wife during the reception and have Big Daddy Kane perform,'" Mars captioned in one of the now removed Instagram videos of the wedding. "He then says,'Mars you call Kane to work it out'. So I'm gassed because I'm on the phone strategizing with arguably one of the best rappers period (top 5 of anyone's list)! Me and Big Daddy Kane on the phone, I'm geeked! No one knew but me and the husband knew he was about to perform. Dude walks in and they didn't even recognize him until he starts rapping. Her face is soooo priceless! #jillscott #mikedobson #bigdaddykane #djmarsapproved."

Maybe Scott will allow her fans to experience photos or videos of those priceless facial expressions from her wedding day--just definitely on her terms.
