Chris Brown is no longer a resident performer at the Drai's nightclub in Las Vegas after the rapper was fired by the establishment for calling the venue racist. It is not yet clear what provoked the "Grass Ain't Greener" singer to rant against the nightclub but it may have something to do with his working relationship with it.

Brown has been a longtime performer at Drai's and his previous concerts there clearly showed how packed the venue can get whenever he's onstage. It was also the place where he celebrated his birthday last May.

However, it seems Brown and Drai's had a serious falling out since the latter reportedly fired the former. According to TMZ, Brown recently called the establishment racist in an Instagram post. Although the post has been already deleted, the celebrity news site was able to get a screenshot of it.

"[Drai's] has some people working for them that always are on a power trip," Brown wrote according to the news site. "Some racist...I pack this club out every single time my name is on the flyer. I keep then lights on in this place. I ain't no slave or an employee of this establishment. So make sure you put some [respect] on my name!"

After seeing the post, the management of Drai's sent a letter to Brown's attorney to ask the rapper to issue an apology for his controversial statement. However, after refusing to apologize, Brown reportedly got fired by the club.

In a statement sent to Billboard, Drai's explained that it always maintains a good professional relationship with its resident and guest performers. Although the nightclub didn't go into detail regarding its feud with Brown, it noted that it has already reached out to the singer's camp.

Based on the club's statement, it seems Brown still has a chance of getting back his regular gig at the venue.

"Recent events have raised concerns that will need to be addressed with Chris and his management before that relationship can continue to move forward," Drai's told Billboard. "We have reached out accordingly and are awaiting to hear back from his team. We remain open to sitting down with him to discuss the future."
