Sam Smith saw a drop off in sales for his track "Stay With Me" last week, but that was only because people were buying his entire album on iTunes and essentially "robbing" him of singles sales. The song returned to form this week however, enough so to jump three spots and take the no. 1 position on the Digital Downloads chart. "Stay With Me" rose 42 percent in sales, selling 211,000 copies of the track.

Magic! remained close behind however. The band's single "Rude" moved 210,000 downloads while dropping to no. 2, almost the same total it sold last week while ascending to the top. It's by far the tightest battle between two songs for the top spot so far during 2014.

This marks the fourth straight week that both "Fancy" by Iggy Azalea and "Problem" by Ariana Grande (featuring Azalea) have seen a drop in sales, and the songs move to nos. 3 and 4 respectively. "Fancy" moved 178,000 downloads while "Problem" fell to 153,000.

That means two more songs are waiting in the reeds to jump the previously unstoppable singles. One is "Life of The Party," the first single from Shawn Mendes, which arrives at no. 5. The 15 y.o. gathered a record deal thanks to massive Vine success, but we'll check out his second week numbers before estimating whether he can stick around for the long haul. Nico & Vinz have managed to stay in it for the long haul, as its hit "Am I Wrong" rose in sales to 147,000 downloads, even if it slipped one place to no. 6.

Jason Derulo and "Wiggle" continue to stick around, moving 120,000 copies and rising to no. 7 this week. Maroon 5's new single "Maps" doesn't seem to have the aforementioned staying power, as it dropped to no. 8 with 104,000 downloads this week, a 25 percent decrease from its debut.

Smith joins Azalea as a performer with his name on two songs in the Top 10, as Disclosure's "Latch" pops into the Top 10 for the first time with 101,000 downloads. The song took the no. 9 spot, and Charlie XCX managed to hold the no. 10 position for the second week in a row with "Boom Clap," which sold 99,000 copies. That's a slight boost for the performer, so we'll see if she can make a move upward.
