Forbes has released its 2016 electronic cash kings rankings. The list of the highest paid DJs is topped once again by Calvin Harris, followed by expected names like Tiësto, David Guetta and Zedd.

Calvin Harris tops the list with a whopping $63 million in earnings. This is the third year in a row he has topped the $60 million mark. The rest of the top five features some regulars with Tiësto with $38 million due to his busy touring schedule and commercial endorsements, David Guetta at $28 million from his Vegas residency and records sold and Zedd at $24.5 million.

The rest of the top 10 features names like Steve Aoki and his tireless tour schedule with 192 dates during the scoring period, Diplo, Skrillex, Kaskade, Martin Garrix and Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike.

Avicii is a name that has noticeably dropped off of the list. After being a mainstay on the list for the past few years, he has dropped out of the top 10. The Swedish DJ has announced that this is last year touring and seemingly has canceled more gigs then he has played this year, attributing to his drop off.

All of these DJs tour extensively and find their way at the top of festival bills. In addition to that, the very top guys have some sort of high paying residency and are some of the few names that have been selling music at a noticeable rate.
