Following the success of "Purple Lamborghini" for the Suicide Squad soundtrack, Rick Ross said that he is planning on working with Skrillex again in the future. According to the rapper, he and the EDM artist have already talked about the details of the project.

Rick Ross and Skrillex officially debuted the "Purple Lamborghini" track in July. A few weeks later, they released the music video for the song which features an appearance by Jared Leto as the Joker.

Due to the success of the single, the rapper revealed that he has already coordinated with Skrillex regarding their next joint project.

"Shout out to my big homie Skrillex," he told Billboard. "I just spoke to him maybe a week or two ago, and we talking about our next collaboration for my project."

According to the rapper, he enjoyed working with the D.J. because of how he was able to take his signature sound and blend it with electronic music.

"I love how he took my heavy beat, heavy grimy sound, and he added that electricity in that chorus," Rick Ross said. "As soon as I heard it, I was like, 'That's it.'"

As noted by Forbes, the release of "Purple Lamborghini" greatly helped Rick Ross' career. When the song first came out, it debuted at the No. 90 spot of the Billboard Hot 100. On its second week, the song leapt to No. 33. This marked the first time that the "Aston Martin Music" rapper was able to claim a spot at the list of top 40 songs of the Billboard Hot 100 in over five years.
