Mary J. Blige and Maxwell have linked their soulful talents to bring an all around regal experience to R&B lovers with their 24-date collaborative King And Queen Of Hearts World Tour.

"If it's cool, we can do a little Sumthin' Sumthin'," are the words of R&B crooner Maxwell and according to EUR, the queen of hip-hop soul agreed - it's cool.

The two soulful legends have decided to mesh their talents beginning this November in the United States but will first bring the genius of this collaboration overseas for a ten-city track.

The appropriately titled King And Queen Of Hearts World Tour will kick off in Baltimore, MD on Nov. 5 and run through Dec. 14, wrapping up in Chicago, IL.

So how did this brilliant idea come about? Well, according to Maxwell, the two genuinely respect one another's talents; they support each other's careers, and it was something that they both just wanted to do.

"This is not some business deal," explained Maxwell in a Rolling Stone interview. "So many of these tours are orchestrated, but this is actually a thing that we wanted to do. We're part of each other's teams. She came up with the title of the tour, and it's perfect."

The blackSUMMERS'night singer explained how both he and the London Sessions singer have a lot in common. They are both from New York, they both love people and their music delivers the same message - love.

Blige agreed but, also believes there is a bigger connection and similarity that they both share, and it's how she came up with the title of the tour. Both she and Maxwell are at the top of their careers and their work ethic and longevity in this business has seated them on the thrones as king and queen.

"He's the king at what he does, I'm the [queen] at what I do," explained the "Share My World" singer.

This is no ego, and we're not being arrogant - this is being sure, because we've been doing this for so long that we can say we're the King and Queen of Hearts. It's easy.

The two have grown from a brief yet cordial encounter at an awards show many years ago, to performing on the same bill, not just in the U.S. but, overseas as well.
