The new season of ABC's How To Get Away With Murder is already off to a great start with the queen of hip-hop soul, Mary J. Blige, joining Viola Davis and the rest of the cast, as a guest star.

Though Mary J. Blige sang about No More Drama on her 2001 album, by this fall there will be nothing but drama for the Brooklyn native as a newest member of the faculty and students who know exactly how to get away with murder.

According to Deadline, Blige will join the season 3 storyline of HTGAWM in a guest starring role but, not many details have been released on what that role will actually be.

In a recent interview, Davis explained how season 3 will present more than just Blige as a new face on the series but, also new student faces will be introduced at Middleton University.

"So, there's going to be a whole different classroom where they're dealing with pro bono cases," explained Davis in an AwardLine interview according to Deadline."

Pete Nowalk, writer and producer for the ABC drama, has created more roles in the series by adding more mysteries and taking a deeper look into the past and current relationships of more characters.

Though there will be new students added to the story, the old students - known as The Keating 5, will also return for the new season and Davis promises nothing but intense, plot-thickening mysteries will be presented from the very beginning of the season.

"A mystery is going to be revealed in the first episode that is so big and so unbelievable," stated the Emmy award winning actress in an E Online interview. "I just think it's going to cost everyone something."

Seasons one and two of the ABC series has proven that statement to be true. Everyone, especially The Keating 5 (Jack Falahee, Alfred Enoch,Karla Souza, Matt McGorry, Aja Naomi King) have had a cost to pay in order to keep their acts of mischief and secrets concealed.

In addition to catching Blige this season on HTGAWM, fans can also catch her on her 2016 tour dates. Click here to see if she will be performing near you and don't miss the season 3 premiere on Thursday, Sept. 22 at 10 p.m
