Are you a rocker missing the good ol' days of Ozzfest? We have a little bit of good news: It might not be a touring festival such as Ozz was, but Slipknot has confirmed that a second edition of Knotfest will go down this October at the San Manuel Amphitheater in San Bernandino, CA.

Slipknot will of course head the bill, but other big names listed on the lineup include Five Finger Death Punch and Volbeat for the more mainstream, Carcass for the more hardcore, and Danzig for super fan and Music Times writer Joey "Samhain" DeGroot. Not into hard rock music? Well then we're not sure why you bought tickets to this event, but at least Tech N9ne will be providing hip-hop offerings for horrorcore fans in attendance. More than 60 acts will play across the three days of the festival.

Joining in with the idea that music festivals should be about more than live music, Knotfest will also include a Slipknot museum, carnival rides, drum circles, and what's described as "pillars of fire." Fun and safe for the whole family!

The original Knotfest took place at two venues-one in the band's home state of Iowa and another in Wisconsin-during 2012. Fans worried that the event would be a one-off after the band failed to provide for 2013, but during march the group announced a Japanese Knotfest in Tokyo featuring a smaller lineup.

No Slipknot fan has forgotten that the band has a new album in the works as well, and you can bet they'll expect some new music come showtime during October. Vocalist Corey Taylor told Loudwire that the album was "98 percent done." It will be the band's first since the death of bassist Paul Gray during 2010, and since longtime drummer Joey Jordison left the band in December.

Tickets are now available.
